School-wide announcements are the perfect place to send out daily announcements, upcoming school events, and important info. Announcements options include scheduling and push notifications.
Links
Having links to frequently used or important sites, or even to documents on Google Drive, ensures that information can be found quickly. Examples include Powerschool, Canvas, school website, the lunch menu, the bell schedule, and Register My Athlete.
Social Feed
Designed to stand apart from traditional social media, our social feed does not include comments or reactions in order to keep out negativity and comparisons, and to encourage face-to-face interactions. Use it celebrate! Show school pride by highlighting sports teams and club achievements, Student of the Month, Faculty spotlights, and any other exciting things happening at the school.
Groups
Keep all school groups – from sports to clubs to classes to PTA groups – in one location, instead of spread across multiple communication apps out of the school’s control. Group advisors can post group-wide announcements, get RSVPs to a calendar event, facilitate smaller discussions with mini chats, and send direct messages.
Community
Help boost local businesses and encourage your student body to support those that are giving back to your school by displaying their logos and promotions. Use it as a perk when talking to businesses while fundraising.
Emphasis on safety
Communication between a student and an adult can be tricky, but it’s often vital to their academic and extracurricular success. We’ve built Groups with this in mind. Using group announcements advisors can post content to the entire group, they can create mini chats with select members of the group for smaller discussions, and direct messages allows a group member to start a chat that includes all the group advisors. By not having members post to the group and by keeping group members’ information private, we avoid the safety concerns of other communication tools. In addition, by allowing all school moderators access to view group messages, we ensure that conversations taking place between students and advisors are never hidden in the dark, helping prevent inappropriate situations. Good communication is essential for teams and clubs, and we are on a mission to make it as safe as possible.

In addition, parents can rest assured that students are easily able to communicate with their teachers and coaches, but without phone numbers being exchanged and in a safe and visible manner.
